We are seeking an experienced and business-oriented project manager with expertise in sales, public relations, professional networking, event management, and database building, who can successfully organize and execute a high-profile economic conference that enhances international trade relations.
Job Title: Project Manager – “Welcome to Serbia” Economic Conference
We are looking for a strategic leader who can plan, manage, and execute a world-class economic conference, facilitating high-value business connections and promoting investment opportunities.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the "Welcome to Serbia" conference, ensuring a highly professional and impactful event.
- Lead sponsorship and sales efforts, securing participation from major European and Iraqi businesses, investors, and institutions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with government officials, business associations, and corporate leaders to maximize engagement.
- Manage public relations and professional communications, ensuring a strong conference presence in media and business networks.
- Curate and organize high-profile keynote sessions, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, ensuring effective business matchmaking.
- Develop and maintain an extensive database of attendees, including corporate executives, investors, and trade representatives.
- Oversee branding, marketing, and digital outreach for the conference, ensuring maximum exposure and participation.
- Coordinate with logistics and event management teams to ensure seamless execution, including venue selection, participant coordination, and protocol arrangements.
- Ensure a smooth registration process and delegate experience, handling VIP arrangements and strategic introductions.
- Monitor and evaluate the success of the conference, providing post-event analysis and strategic recommendations for future editions.
Qualifications:
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) to facilitate international communication and business negotiations.
- Proven experience in event management, corporate networking, or investment promotion, preferably in an international business setting.
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to attract sponsorships, business partners, and high-profile attendees.
- Exceptional relationship-building abilities, maintaining strong connections with key stakeholders across multiple industries.
- Extensive knowledge of business development, trade relations, and investment opportunities between Europe and Iraq.
- Experience in marketing, digital outreach, and public relations, ensuring maximum exposure and participation.
- Proficiency in database management, with the ability to build and maintain a high-quality list of business contacts.
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills, capable of managing large-scale events and high-profile participants.
- Strong ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, ensuring a well-executed and professionally managed conference.
